Agro-techniques for rice fallow greengram:

  • Seed rate: 30 kg/ha

  • Time of Sowing:Second fortnight of January to second fortnight of February.

  • Seed treatment: Treat the seeds with Bacillus subtilis 10 g kg-1 and 600 g each of biofertilizers viz., Rhizobium, and Phosphobacteria, using rice gruel is recommended

  • Sowing :Four days before harvest of rice crop, broadcast the greengram seed in waxy soil moisture condition.

  • Foliar nutrition: At flowering stage, apply TNAU pulse wonder at 5 kg /ha as foliar spray.

  • Harvesting:Best time for harvest the crop, when 80% pods are fully matured
